Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yield: About 4 dozen cookies

Ingredients: 1 cup butter/ 2 sticks of butter, I cup granulated sugar, 1 cup brown sugar, 2 eggs, 2 tsp vanilla extract, 2 tbsp hot water, 1/2 tsp salt, 3 cups flour, 2 cups chocolate chips – (but always add more)

1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit

2: Beat butter, brown sugar, and sugar with an electric mixer

3: Beat in eggs until well mixed and then stir in vanilla

4: Dissolve the baking soda in hot water and add it in along with salt,

5: Mix in the flour and add the chocolate chips

6: Put spoonfulls of dough in a pan about 2 inches apart

7: Put in oven for 10 mins or until edges are nicely browned

8: Put on a wire rack to cool
